The Virginia Festival of the Book is a 5-day festival of mostly free literary events that are open to the public as we honor book culture and promote reading and literacy.
Produced by Virginia Foundation for the Humanities and held throughout Charlottesville and Albemarle County, the Book Festival has become a spring tradition in Central Virginia with a cumulative audience of more than 20,000 attendees each year for the last decade.
