About Me
I have had a short story accepted for inclusion in an anthology Techmares II entitled: Fatal Exception: Kiss of Death. Unfortunately, that publication is on hold right now due to Mr. McClendon’s illness.
I won the grand prize in Writing.com’s Fireside Drama Contest for a short story entitled “Grand Opening” and was also awarded a red ribbon for “Fantastic Integration of Setting and Plot” for my short story “Little Bear”.
I have had two non-fiction articles published in The Riverside Nurse and I also won a poetry contest at 1-800-FLOWERS.
I worked as a Medical Secretary for 26 years at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.I recently retired and moved to Lafayette, Indiana to focus on my writing. I have been married for 13 years and have two grown children who have given me two beautiful grandchildren - a granddaughter, Jaylynn, and a grandson, Llaine.
I have always loved to read and write but only recently begun to pursue publication.
I also enjoy gardening and gaming!
