I'm a writer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I've been a writer my whole life, but I took some time off after college to become a teacher. When I got laid off, I was told that English teachers are "interchangeable," which is like saying the same of writers or human beings. But we're not; we all have stories to tell. Some of us are a bit better at it than others.
Some of us aren't better but wrote about boy wizards or hunky vampires at just the right time. Now that I can focus on my writing and have the impending doom of my family to deal with if I don't find success, I am using every opportunity I come across. I'd love to connect with other writers looking to break into the market. I have a lot to learn and a little to teach.
