Hello, everyone. Happy to be joining the group. My first book was a short story collection that won a literary award or two and makes for good reading in a cafe. My second book, a novel, is a high-brow thriller and was a Kindle bestseller--better suited for the beach. Just depends on where you're going.

About Me Vincent Czyz is a graduate of Rutgers-New Brunswick and Columbia University. He spent three years at the North Jersey Herald News in Passaic, NJ, as copy editor, book reviewer, and feature writer. In 1991 and again in 1994 he received fiction fellowships from the NJ Council on the Arts. In 1994 he won the Faulkner Prize for Short Fiction. His collection of short stories, Adrift in a Vanishing City, was released in 1998, reissued in 2015, and won the 2016 Eric Hoffer Award for Best in Small Press. His first novel, The Christos Mosaic, was released in 2015 and became a bestseller on Amazon Kindle. He spent a total of nearly a decade in Istanbul, Turkey before settling in Jersey City. His fiction has appeared in Shenandoah, AGNI, Tampa Review, Georgetown Review, Quiddity, Tin House, Skidrow Penthouse, Southern Indiana Review, and Louisiana Literature, among others. His essays have been published in numerous publications, including New England Review, the Boston Review, AGNI, West Branch, Logos Journal, and New Millennium Writings.
